Depending on your broker and which Futures symbol you’re trading, this tick value may vary. It’s very important to know when your futures broker offers intraday margin and how much each tick is worth so you can calculate market movement and develop a Futures Trading Strategy from that.
Intraday margin only lasts for certain hours of the day, if you are in the middle of a trade, outside of these hours, your broker may ask you to cover the margin deference and either close out your position or ask you to deposit more money into your futures broker account.
