Market Pulse 360 for July 14, 2023
The NASDAQ has broken 14,000, as I forecasted, and is headed to 15,000. These are NOT benign numbers, but BIG MONEY from where we come since NASDAQ 10,500 several months ago.
We’re now only 2,000 points away from previous highs (before the bear market). If this is not convincing and compelling enough for clients to see dollar signs, then nothing is.
NASDAQ 14,000 was a key resistance level and statement of the strength of the move this year. We have a long way to go, and there is a lot of runway ahead with all of the catalysts we have now:
- The Fed nearly done raising interest rates
- The economy in good shape and very resilient;
- Unemployment still near record lows
- Corporate earnings likely will be better than expected for most companies with easier YoY comparisons: and,
- A revolution in the impact and productivity of AI on companies, organizations, and society, lowering costs and improving earnings for better P/E going forward.
We have not had this kind of setup – probably EVER!
However, time is money and for those who missed the first and second legs up, now they have an opportunity to participate in the biggest leg up ahead of us!
