Critical Misunderstanding Traders Have

Hey friend,

Will Nvidia’s blistering earnings – and the resulting sentiment boost – stall the pullback a little longer?

That remains to be seen.

In the meantime, let’s see how the indexes have been moving.

The Daily Direction

Note: Indexes closed mixed yesterday, with the Nasdaq and Russell 2000 closing lower. The short-term direction for the Nasdaq has dipped into negative territory, but it’s worth remembering that – considering its strong prior rise – this shouldn’t be taken as overly negative.

The Daily Nugget

People often misunderstand the term “past performance is not a guarantee of future results”.

Even setting aside that the phrase is quite obviously a legal disclaimer…

All it says is that past performance cannot guarantee future results – and that’s true, because nothing can.

However, because past performance is the only type of data we have (obviously)…

Everybody makes decisions based on it, which is what creates reliable patterns in the market – patterns we can exploit.

The key is being able to filter out the signal from the noise…

To find patterns that have been statistically proven time and time again to reliably lead to certain outcomes.

And right now, one of the most powerful patterns in trading is signaling all kinds of opportunities…

Which is why tomorrow at 12 p.m. Eastern…

Ross Givens is going LIVE for a masterclass in using this pattern to target big fast gains in today’s markets.
