The market continues to power forward, and the bears are slowly going into hibernation. With all of the noise that obscured the real driving forces, many traders and investors missed the best first half in the market in 5 years!
The opportunity cost grows every day with the Fed in a de facto pause, using new language at the last Fed meeting in May that stated he would raise interest “if warranted.” The next Fed meeting is June 14th, and he is likely to either make another cryptic statement about the future of interest rates, such as a skip, which will equate to a pause.
The markets don’t care; there is now “Fed fatigue,” evidenced by the recent breakout and grind up, despite the Fed’s actions to raise interest rates 8 times in the past year. There is another force that is now eclipsing the market: artificial intelligence (AI).
After the absolute blowout in earnings by Nvidia (NVDA) a couple weeks ago and big raise in forward guidance, AI is being adopted throughout society, organizations and businesses faster than anyone predicted. This is revolutionary; the next frontier and will create the next big wave of growth in the economy.
Positioning now is even more critical to maximize opportunities moving forward! Time is literally money.
